The group pledged to implement the projectwithin three months after receiving an investment licence.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’sCommittee Huynh Thi Hang said the provincial authorities will create the best possibleconditions for the group to carry out the project, noting that solar power projectswith capacity of under 50 MW will be approved by the Ministry of Industry andTrade while those with capacity of over 50 MW must be submitted to the PrimeMinister for approval.
According to Director of the provincialDepartment of Industry and Trade Nguyen Anh Hoang, Binh Phuoc is one of the 20 provinceswith high heat radiation and sunshine hours, which is a favourable condition forthe development of solar power.-VNA
