Indonesia, RoK discuss military armament system procurements

Jakarta (VNA) - Korean Ambassador to IndonesiaKim Chang-beon called on Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legaland Security Affairs Mahfud MD on November 20 to discuss procurement of mainmilitary armament system (Alutsista), ꦺamong others.

The meeting also discussed President Joko Widodo's plan tovisit the Republic of Korea (RoK) to attend the ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit.The president is scheduled to leave on November 23, he said.

The meeting also highlighted a plan for cooperation in the procurement ofthe main military armament system, but he did not elaborate on the plan, AntaraNews reported.

Asked about the cooperation between the two nations in theprocurement of fighter jets KFX/I꧋FX which is still obscure, the minister saidhe did not discuss only that w♚ith the ambassador./.
