Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo on December 8 arrivedin Ache province to inspect relief efforts after an earthquake of 6.5-magnitudeoccurred a day ago.
Uponhis arrival, President Widodo visited victims of the quake in Zainal Abidinhospital.
The Government has deployed personnel and resources for relief efforts,including thousands of soldiers, police, rescue workers, health workers andvolunteers.
The Ministry of Social Affairs has decided to provide money for families withdeath and seriously injured people.
Relevant agencies paid attention to clean water and electricity to ensure basicliving conditions for local people.
