Hanoi (VNA) - A total of 240 workers will be chosen to work in Japanesehospitals this year, the Department of Overseas Labour (DoLAB) under theMinistry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has announced.

Applicantswill spend a year learning Japanese in training courses organised by the MoLISAand its Japanese partner.

Duringthe course, trainees can also enjoy free-of-charge accommodation, meals andpocket money.

Those whopass the exam will be offered work in Japan’s health sector as orderlies andnurses.

Applicantsfor hospital orderlies will stay in Japan for three years and nurses for fouryears.

Bothprofessions offer staff the chance to gain recognised qualifications and nurseswill be paid 130,000-140,000 Japanese Yen (1,200-1,300 USD) per month andorderlies 140,000-150,000 Japanese Yen (1,300-1,388 USD) per month.

Besidessalary, the applicants will receive allowance based on their work achievement.

Applicantdocuments can be sent to the DoLAB at No 41B, Ly Thai To street, Hoan Kiem districtin Hanoi from October 1-18 this year.

An examto choose applicants will be organised on November 7 and 8 in Hanoi and November11 and 12 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Applicantsmust be no more than 35 years old and have qualifications for the speciality./.
