Khanh Hoa (VNA) – The People’s Committee of the central coastal pro🐻vince of Khanh Hoa on October 24 hosted a reception for the crew of three Chinese naval ships which have been on a visit at Cam Ranh International Port since October 22.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the committee Nguyen Duy Bac briefed the guests on social, economic and cultural development in the locality.
He added that Nha Trang coastal city has become one of the popular destinations of Chinese tourists in recent years, with more than 400,000 Chinese arrivals in the first nine months of 2016. Inaugurated in March this year, the Cam Ranh International Port provides navigation and technical repairing services for domestic and international military and civil vessels, he said.
Colonel Wang Hong Li, deputy chief of staff of Donghai fleet, said the visit of the Chinese naval ships, the first to Cam Ranh of Chinese naval ships, aims to increase mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries’ navies and tighten the Vietnam-China neighbourly friendship. The Chinese naval ships carrying nearly 750 officials and sailors will stay in Vietnam until October 26.-VNA
