The two-classroomwooden school, funded by Vietnam ’s Southern Television Station, isrested on the Tonle Sap Lake in remote Ta Neang village, KongpongKhleng commune, where children yet reach any forms of education.
Lessonsat the school will be first taught on Vietnamese and later on Khmerlanguage as the village is home to both overseas Vietnamese andCambodians.
Chairman of Kongpong Khleng communal People’s CouncilTouch Sothia praised Vietnamese donors’ assistance given no school wasever built in the area.
