 Hai Phong (VNA) – 🐭The final ofthe sixth Korean language contest in the northern port city of Hai Phong washeld on October 31.

The event was jointly held by the city’sDepartment of Foreign Affairs, the city’s union of friendship organisations andthe association of Korean people in the locality. Nguyen Khanh Ly, an employee at LG Displayat the city’s Trang Due Industrial Park and Do Tuan Anh of the Hanoi PolytechnicCollege, Hai Phong campus, triumphed at the contest. Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Departmentof Foreign Affairs Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong said the competition was to encouragethe learning of Korean language and its culture, contributing to the Vietnam-Republicof Korea friendship. President of the association of Koreanpeople in the city Cho Sung-jin noted that given that investment from RoKbusinesses in Hai Phong has been on the rise, the contest helped to tighten thecountries’ cooperation and foster exchanges between people of the RoK andVietnam, and Hai Phong in particular. The RoK is among leading foreign investorsof Hai Phong, with 40 firms channelling nearly 7 billion USD into the portcity./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
