The Lao official expressed his pleasure when visiting Tuyen Quang,where important events initiating significant decisions of the Laorevolution in its struggle for national liberation took place.

It’s in Tuyen Quang where Lao Prince Souphanouvong and President Kaysone Phomvihan met President Ho Chi Minh.

Vice President Buonhang Volachith said the Vietnam-Laos ties have been closer, shown by visits of the two countries’ leaders.

Secretary of the Tuyen Quang province Party Committee Nguyen Sang Vangreviewed the province’s cooperation activities with Laos ’Xiengkhuang province over the past time.

Tuyen Quang is willingto cooperate and share experience with Laos’ provinces, especiallyin production of tea and other agricultural products, contributing toenhancing the Vietnam-Laos traditional and special friendship, Vangsaid.

The same day, Sang hosted a banquet in honour of the Lao Vice President.

The Lao official and his delegation also visited the revolutionaryrelic site of Tan Trao in, Tan Trao commune, Son Duong district and theLao revolutionary relic site in My Bang commune, Yen Son district.-VNA
