Hanoi (VNA) – The Lao Party, State and people will do their utmost to promote special solidarity with Vietnam and bring bilateral relations to a new height for the sake of their peoples as well as peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and bey⛦ond.

Bunthoong Chitmany, Deputy Prime Minister, President of the Government Inspection Authority of Laos (GIA), and Head of the Anti-Corruption Authority, made the remark at a meeting with Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and head of the PCC Inspection Commission, in Hanoi on July 25.
The relations between Vietnam and Laos have been thriving thanks to the active contributions of the two countries’ Party inspection commissions and inspection authorities. He thanked Vietnam for its valuable support for Laos in the past and at present. He informed the host about the outcome of the talks with the Vietnamese Inspector General.
For his part, Vuong welcomed the guest’s ongoing visit to Vietnam, which is expected to consolidate and deepen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. He congratulated Laos on its significant achievements gained after 30 years of renovation, and expressed his belief that Laos will reap more success under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP), especially building Laos into a country of peace, stability, democracy, unification and prosperity towards its socialist targets. He said he hopes the two countries’ Party inspection and State inspection sectors will forge ahead with coordination in the future via regular experience exchanges.-VNA
