QuangNinh (VNA) – The body of the last victim in the helicopter crash was found on April 7 morning, two days after the incident occurred in the sea area betweenHai Phong city and Quang Ninh province.
Earlier, the bodiesof the pilot and three other victims were found in the night of April 5, andthe morning of April 6.

The Bell-505 helicopter, owned by the Northern VietnamHelicopter Company under the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, got an accident atabout 5:06pm on April 5 in the sea area of Gia Luan commune in Cat Hai districtof the northern port city of Hai Phong while carrying four Vietnamese touristson a sightseeing tour of Ha Long Bay.

During the last twodays, more than 500 officers, soldiers, and dozens of vessels were mobilisedfor rescue and search activities, which also saw joint efforts of many otherforces and local fishermen.

Authorities Quang Ninh province and HaLong city have proactively given financial support to the victims’ families.  

OnApril 6, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Dinh Viet Thangsaid that the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation haspostponed all helicopter sightseeing tours in provinces and cities after theincident./.
