The licence allows Indochina Telecom to share a 3G network with Viettel, one of Vietnam’s mobile telecom giants.

General Director of Indochina Telecom Le Van Phat said that his companywill focus on supplying value-added services and using internet serviceas a lever to lift his company apart from others in the same market.

The company is expected to launch its service as soon as possible afterworking with current providers in Vietnam and completing its networkinfrastructure.

The debut of the eighth mobile network is expected to minimise stateinvestment in the sector, since it will piggy-back on the networkinfrastructure of other local providers./.
