Mexico City (VNA) – Mexico City is willing to establish multi-faceted cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City, especially in healthcare, technology inn൲ovation and tourism.

Mayor of Mexico City Miguel Angel Mancera made the remark at a reception for Deputy Secretary of the HCM City’s Party Committee and Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam in Mexico on September 20.
The Mayor said the most important thing to do is to share experience in socio-economic development, urban management, environmental protection and cultural preservation and draft a cooperation agenda. Tam said both cities have advantages in economics, culture, history, and sustainable development policies, enabling the two sides to set up a long-term partnership.
She invited the Mayor to visit Vietnam and HCM City to enhance understanding and collaboration. Earlier, she had working sessions with the host’s management agencies on development policies and strategies in urban management, housing development, and conservation of UNESCO-recognised cultural and historical relic sites in Mexico City.-VNA
