Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Labour,War Invalids and Social Affairs has prepared measures to support Vietnameseworkers in Qatar.
Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep on June 7 toldthe press that after receiving information on the political crisis in Qatar,the ministry has directed its Department of Overseas Labour to request agenciessending workers to report the working addresses of contractors receivinglabourers to provide assistance when needed.
The ministry also ordered relevant agencies tokeep a close watch on developments in Qatar and prepare necessary measures tosupport Vietnamese workers.

With a highly skilled labour force, Vietnam is leading the markets of Japan and some European countries, Dao Cong Hai, deputy head of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs' Overseas Labour Management Department, has told Tin Tuc (News) daily.
