Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022 to be launched

The selection round of Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022, a national event featuring fitness enthusiasts, will open on January 16 in Ho Chi Minh City.

HCMCity (VNS/VNA) - The selection round of Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022, anational event featuring fitness enthusiasts, will open on January 16in Ho Chi Minh City. 

Womenaged 18 and above who are at least 1.62m tall are encouraged to jointhe event.  

Contestantswill compete in the categories of fitness performance, sports talent, swimsuits, question-and-answersessions and evening wear.

Twenty-one candidateswill be selected for the semi-final round in late February in HCMCity. They will take part in social and charity activities to encouragethe public, particularly youth, to maintain good health by doing sports. 

Tenfinalists will compete for the crown at the final, which is scheduled for April16 in HCM City. 

The winnerwill receive a 300 million VND (over 13,200 USD) award in cash, while the tworunners-up will take home 200 million VND each. 

Thejury includes Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen and experts fromthe HCM City Weightlifting & Bodybuilding Federation. 

MissSupranational 2018, runner-up of Asia’s Next Top Model 2017 andfashion model Minh Tú will lead contestants during the contest’sselection and semi-final rounds.   

Tuwas a coach for "The Face" 2017, a Vietnamese version of theAmerican modeling reality TV show, which finds the face for a major brand,and a mentor at Asia’s Next Top Model 2018.

“Wehope our event, Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022, will encourageVietnamese women to live more healthy, happily and confidently,” saidTrang Le, founder and president of the Vietnam International Fashion Week, amember of the event’s organising board. 

Trangwas awarded the title 'Knighthood of the Order of Merit of the Star of Italy,'presented by the Italian president last year.

She washonoured for her contributions bringing Vietnam andItaly closer in the field of fashion.

Thehonour is one of the highest recognitions awarded by the Italian Government toforeigners who make contributions to strengthening friendship betweenItaly and other countries./.
