Ninh Binh (VNA) – Anothersightseeing-by-boat tour in the Trang An eco-tourism site of the Trang AnLandscape Complex will be put into operation on February 16, the first day of the Lunar New Year.

According to the service supplier Xuan Truong construction privateenterprise, the tour will operate the route Trang An – Trinh temple – May cave– Tien spring – Dia Linh cave – Dai cave - Vu Lam palace – Filming location of King Kong SkullIsland and vice versa, with the time of 3-4 hours.

This will be the third tour of this kind launched by Xuan Truong in the site.

The Trang An LandscapeComplex was recognised by UNESCO as a Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sitein 2014.

In UNESCO's words, "Trang An is a resplendent complex of limestone karstpeaks which are permeated with valleys, including submerged ones, andsurrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs," nestling on the southernshore of the Red River Delta.

Archaeological traces of human activity datingback thousands of years have been found within the complex.

The Trang An Complex boasts several nationallyrecognised sites like the Trang An ecotourism site and Hoa Lu, Vietnam'scapital in the 10th and 11th centuries.

The area also has many temples, pagodas, paddyfields, villages and other sacred sites.

It is home to about 500 flora species, 73species of birds and 41 species of other animals and has a diverseecosystem.-VNA
