Hanoi (VNA) - Leaders of Thailand, Japan,South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Palestine and Cambodia have sent theirgreetings to Vietnam on the occasion of the country’s 74th NationalDay.

In his message to Party General Secretaryand President Nguyen Phu Trong, Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn Odindradebayavarangkunwishes Vietnam further prosperity and development, expressing his belief thatVietnam and Thailand will further tighten their ties to strengthen their cooperationand partnership across fields, thus making the bilateral relations stronger inthe time to come.

In a message cabled to the leader, South AfricanPresident Cyril Ramaphosa affirmed his desire to deepen the close relationsbetween his country and Vietnam.

Japanese Emperor Naruhito, King of Saudi Arabia Salman binAbdulaziz Al-Saud, Iranian President  Hassan Rouhani and Pakistani President ArifAlvi, and President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas also sent their greetings to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen PhuTrong.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Ahmed Khan extended hisgreetings to his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc

Meanwhile, Chairman of National Assemblyof Cambodia Heng Samrin sent a letter to VietnameseNational Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

On the occasion, Foreign Ministersof Russia, Colombia, Iran and Palestine also senttheir greetings to their Vietnamese counterpart Pham Binh Minh.-VNA
