QuangTri (VNA) -💯 More than 2,500 poor people in the central province ofQuang Tri on March 12 received free medical checkups, medicine and gifts fromthe Project Vietnam Foundation organisation of the American Academy of Paediatrics.

A70-member delegation of the organisation provided checkups and medicine fordisadvantaged people in Hai An and Hai Khe communes of Hai Lang district, Cam Tuyencommune of Cam Lo district and Ba Long of Da Krong district. Localresidents also received counselling on how to prevent and treat variousdiseases. Thisis the second time Project Vietnam Foundation has provided free checkups andmedicine to people in Quang Tri province, and the 22nd time across Vietnamsince 1996. - VNA
