- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expected Sumitomo Corporation to become a stra𓂃tegic investor of Vietnam with greater contributions to the Vietnamese economy while receiving Yukihito Honda, Group CEO of the Japanese firm's Urban Infrastructure Development Group in Hanoi on July 22.

PM Chinh highly valued Sumitomo's investment projects in Vietnam, describing them as large in scale with strong spillover effects on socio-economic development in the Southeast Asian country. Read full story
- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Chan Chun Sing, Assistant Secretary-General of the People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore, Coordinating Minister for Public Services, and Minister for Defence, in Hanoi on July 22.
PM Chinh lauded the outcomes of the Singaporean delegation’s talks with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and meetings with Vietnamese agencies. Read full story
- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on July 22 chaired a conference with heads of Vietnam’s overseas diplomatic missions to strengthen economic diplomacy in pursuit of the country’s growth target for the second half and to lay a foundation for double-digit growth in the following period.
Held in a hybrid format, the conference connected the Government headquarters in Hanoi with 94 overseas missions and 34 provincial and municipal People’s Committees. Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son co-chaired the event. Read full story
- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on Phenikaa University to become a model for new-generation private universities focused on innovation, while visiting the institution July 22 and handing over the Government’s decision allowing it to expand from a multi-disciplinary institution into a university with multiple member schools across various fields.
Established in 2007, Phenikaa University now trains nearly 25,000 students in over 100 programmes, including 64 undergraduate majors, 10 international joint programmes, 16 master’s and 11 doctoral programmes. The university has established five schools in engineering, economics, medicine-pharmacy, IT, and foreign languages-social sciences. Read full story
- National Assembly (🎉NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on July 22 afternoon (local time) met with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and members of the Vietnamese community in Senegal as part of his official🦩 visit to the African country.

- Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone on July 22 sent a message of condolence to his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh over the tragic capsizing of a tourist boat in Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province on July 19.
In the message, PM Sonexay said he had closely followed developments of storm Wipha, which made landfall in Vietnam's northern coastal region and caused serious damage to lives and property, particularly the boat capsizing in Ha Long Bay. Read full story
- The Ministry of National Defence held a ceremony in Hanoi on July 22 to present decisions 🌺of the State President and the Minister of National Defence to three officers who are about to depart for duties at the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping mission in Abyei.

Presiding over the event was Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and deputy head of the inter-sectoral working group, and deputy head of the Ministry of National Defence's steering committee for Vietnam’s participation in UN peacekeeping operations. - The Vietnamese culinary team has secured the championship trophy and the “best chef” award at the Battle of the Pastry & Bakery Chefs 2025, held from July 18 to 20 in Malaysia under the patronage of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs).
According to the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), the Vietnamese delegation outperformed more than 400 contestants from various countries and territories, taking home a total of 16 gold, five silver, and 11 bronze medals./.Read full story
