Hanoi (VNA) – A programme, named VCPMCMusic Day, was held online on December 16 to honour musicians for their devotionto image building on digital platforms.
It was jointly held by the Vietnam Centre forProtection of Music Copyright (VCPMC) and Meta Platforms, Inc., doing businessas Meta and formerly known as Facebook, Inc.
Organisers stressed significance of building theimage of musicians and artists and promoting works in order to come closer tothe public, saying many musicians and artists have succeeded in bringing intofull play social platforms in this regard.
During the programme, the honoured musicians sharedtheir experience in image promotion, along with tools and methods in making videoclips and luring followers.
On this occasion, the centre awarded Khac Viet withthe title of impressive musician of the year for his contributions to musiccopyright protection.
Khac Viet has also been selected by Meta as representativeof "Facebook - Facebook song Writer of the day.”/.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak in collaboration with Song Thuong Garden Co., Ltd. held a press conference on December 14 to introduce a musical play titled "Khat vong Dam San” (Dam San's aspiration).
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
