NA Chairman offers aid to Dak Lak workers

A delegation led by Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue presented 50 aid packages to pandemic-hit workers in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on June 30.

Dak Lak (VNA)– A delegation led by Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue presented50 aid packages to pandemic-hit workers in the Central Highlands province ofDak Lak on June 30.

The top legislatorsaid that amid the negative impact of COVID-19 on business operations andpeople’s livelihood, especially the grave effects of the fourth wave ofoutbreaks on industrial parks, the Politburo has decided to continue with thepolicy on supporting workers and employers, including workers in the informaleconomic sector.  

The Politburo hasassigned the Party committees at the NA and the Government to work together ina bid to promptly roll out the new support package, with experience learnedfrom the implementation of previous resolutions in the sphere.

Hue highly valuedefforts made by trade unions at all levels in Dak Lak over the time to helpease the challenges for not only local members but also workers in Bac Giangand Bac Ninh northern provinces, the two major COVID-19 outbreaks in the latestresurgence of COVID-19.

He also required theprovincial Party committee to devise effective solutions to enhance care forworkers, ensure social welfare and sustainably alleviate poverty./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
