Hanoi (VNA) – Top Vietnamese tennis player Ly♎ Hoang Nam jumped one step to 883rd place in the world rankings - his career best.

Nam helped Vietnam beat Indonesia 3-2 in the Davis Cup in Indonesia to remain in the event’s Group 2. “This is a proud achievement, especially in a time when my teammates and I have beat Indonesia in the Davis Cup," Nam said. "I aim to enter the top 500 this year." Nam will take part in the Men’s Futures in Japan in mid-March.-VNA
