Nearly 15,600 new COVID-19 cases recorded on December 25

Vietnam logged 15,586 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours till 4pm on December 25, including 27 imported cases, reported the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam logged 15,586 newCOVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours till 4pm on December 25, including 27imported cases, reported the Health Ministry.

Hanoi still recorded the highest number ofinfections with 1,879 cases.

The country has so far confirmed 1,636,455infections.

Since the fourth pandemic wave hit the country onApril 27, as many as 1,630,851 cases have been discovered, 1,226,867 of thisfigure have recovered.

The same day, 235 people were confirmed dead fromthe disease.

The number of fatalities has so far reached 31,007,or 1.9 percent of the total infections./.

Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine ꦰproduction technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
