Quang Ninh (VNA)📖 – Customs authorities at Mong Cai International Border Gate in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh on August 5 announced that they have completed clearance procedures for nearly 22 tonnes of fresh, unhusked coconuts officially exported to China through Bac Luan II bridge border gate.

This is the first shipment of fresh coconuts to be exported through this route in 2025, highlighting the growing potential and effectiveness of Vietnam’s high-value agricultural exports. The shipment, exported by Quan Minh Investment Joint Stock Company, included 2,190 cartons weighing a total of 21.9 tonnes.
The coconuts were sourced from southern Ben Tre province, bearing planting area code VN-BTOR-0188 and packing facility code VN-BTPH-064. The products met all required export standards. Smooth customs clearance reflects the close coordination among relevant authorities and their efforts to facilitate bilateral trade.
This also marks the second shipment of fresh coconuts through the Bac Luan II border gate since customs procedures for this product began at the site in 2024. Previously, on October 25, 2024, Hai Ninh Import-Export and Trade Service Co., Ltd. successfully exported the first batch of fresh coconuts via this route, totaling 2,430 packages, equivalent to 23.5 tonnes./.
