Nestle opens 80 mln USD decaf coffee facility in Dong Nai

Nestle opened a 80 million USD decaffeinated coffee production facility in southern Dong Nai province's Amata Industrial Park on March 30.

Thenew facility, the second phase of the Nestle Tri An plant, will producedecaffeinated coffee for use in Nestle plants all around the world.

This is the first decaffeinated coffee factory in Vietnam and Nestle's second globally.

"The investment shows our faith in Vietnam, where we have been operating for 20 years," said Nestle's CEO Paul Bulcke.

Thefirst phase of the Nestle Tri An plant began production in November2012, and produces coffee products for sale domestically and for export.

In Vietnam, Nestle has invested over 450 million USD in five factories, and has 2,000 employees.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
