Newspaper helps flood-hit central provinces

At the event on December 27 in Hanoi, GHF Director Tran Duy Phuongcalled on organisations and individual donors nationwide to continuallyhelp people in difficulty and provide relief for areas hit by naturaldisasters.

As of December 26, the Labour Newspaperand foundation had collected nearly 12 billion VND from 113 labourunions of agencies, provinces and cities, and individual donorsnationwide.

The 10 th , 11 th and 14 th storms ofthe year that hit Vietnam’s central region caused major damage topeople and property in the central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, HaTinh and Quang Tri.

In response to the VietnamGeneral Confederation of Labour appeal to support the central provinces,organisations, officials and workers across the country have donatedone day’s salary to help flood victims./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched
