No locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases for 22 consecutive days

Vietnam has recorded no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases for 22 consecutive days by September 24, according to the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has recorded no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 casesfor 22 consecutive days by September 24, according to the Health Ministry.

From6am to 6pm on September 24, no new cases were reported, leaving the total countat 1,069.

Meanwhile,991 COVID-19 patients have been given the all clear. The fatalities remain at35.

Amongpatients under treatment, there is no longer any critical case, while 12 havetested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, five negative twice and 11 negativethrice.

Atotal 20,590 people are being quarantined nationwide, including 336 athospitals, 13,073 at concentrated quarantine facilities and 7,181 at homes oraccommodations./.
