The event is part of activities to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the VietnamSport Day as well as the 87th year of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
It aims to raise public awareness of the importance of physical exercise and encouragepeople to do exercise regularly for improving their health.
The organising board is working hard on communication campaigns towardscompleting the goal of having 85 percent of communes, wards and townsnationwide joining the event.
Sports and art performance activities will be also arranged in the framework ofthe programme.
The last year event drew the participation of about 7.2 million people in all 63cities and provinces across the country. -VNA
