More than 300 domestic and foreign businesses are showcasing their products and services at the Food & Hotel Vietnam 2022 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from December 7-9.

HCM City (VNA) – More than 300 domestic and foreign businesses areshowcasing their products and services at the Food & Hotel Vietnam 2022 atthe Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from December7-9.

Along with exhibition stalls, including 22 of foreigncompanies, the 11th edition of the expo also includes a lot ofsidelines events, including the Vietnam Culinary Challenge, and the ASIA Food& Beverage Summit 2022.

BT Tee, General Director of the Informa Markets Vietnam –the organiser, said that after two years of disruption due to the COVID-19pandemic, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2022 promises to open up more opportunitiesfor enterprises to approach market trends and new operation strategies, andpromote business connectivity.

Participating in the expo for the first time, the organiser ofthe EU pavilion held a ceremony to launch the pavilion with the chair of EUAmbassador to Vietnam Giorgio Aliberti.

Giorgio Aliberti said that the expo is the right opportunityto showcase the rich potential of European-Vietnamese food fusion. During thethree-day event, visitors are given a chance tolearn about the growing variety of European products in Vietnam./.

✤ Bac Lieu’s fight against IUU fishing shows positive progress

Huynh Tan Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ganh Hao, noted that the town strictly follows anti-IUU fishing directives and has partnered with local agencies to organise six awareness campaigns attended by nearly 500 fishermen.
