Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary To Lam attended the Party Congress of the Party Central Committee’s Office for the 2025-2030 tenure in Hanoi on August 7.
Politburo member, permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies Tran Cam Tu delivered a keynote address, praising the office’s Party Organisation for its comprehensive achievements over the past term, excellently fulfilling its role as an advisor for the Party Central Committee and its Politburo and Secretariat.
The office has coordinated with advisory bodies of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat to promptly is꧟sue numerous strategic guidelines and policies; led and directed the work of Party and political system building drastically and comprehensively, contributing to the perfection of the organisational structur𒅌e of the political system from the central to the grassroots level, he noted. It offered critical support to subcommittees tasked with preparing for the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, ensuring necessary conditions and a clear roadmap for its success.

It also proactively, actively, and decisively implemented resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party Central Committee on streamlining and restructuring the organisational apparatus.
He stressed the importance of elevating the calibre of Party officials and members, urging stronger leadership and direction to meet increasingly demanding responsibilities.
The official emphasised the need to accelerate digital transformation and administrative reforms within the Party, promoting the increased use of information technology to enhance leadership and management effectiveness.
Efforts must continue to build a united, disciplined, and strong Party Organisation in terms of politics, ideology, organisation, and ethics, he said.
Discipline must be further tightened, Hung stressed, calling for stricter enforcement of Party rules, intensified inspections, and swift action to address violations by Party units or individual members.
The Congress elected a new 25-member Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, member of the Party Central Coꦜmmittee, member of the standing bo꧅ard of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, and Permanent Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office, was elected as Secretary of the Party Committee./.
This plenum will focus discussions on three major groups of issues - preparations for the 14th National Party Congress; the development of a political and legal foundation for continued reform in the coming years; and personnel work.
