Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member Truong Thi Mai, whoheads the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation, on April20 visited and extended Easter greetings to the Hanoi Archdiocese and Archbishop Joseph Vu Van Thien.
Mai conveyed awish for warm and joyful Easter to the Archbishop and all dignitaries, priests,nuns and Christians of the Hanoi Archdiocese.
She underscoredthe great contributions of the Christian community to the country’ssocio-economic, security-defence achievements over the years.
Mai expressed herbelief that in his position, Archbishop Joseph Vu Van Thien will continueworking closely with priests, nuns and local Christians to realise the Partyand State policies, joining hands with people across the nation in nationalconstruction and defence.
For his part, ArchbishopJoseph Vu Van Thien thanked the Party and State for their care to the HanoiArchdiocese.
