Pattaya to host Jet Ski World cup 2017

An adviser to the Thai Jet Sports Boating Association under Royal Patronage has announced that Thailand will be hosting the Jet Ski World Cup in Pattaya on December 7-10.

Bangkok (NNT/VNA) – An adviser to the Thai Jet Sports Boating Association underRoyal Patronage has announced that Thailand will host the Jet SkiWorld Cup in Pattaya on December 7-10. 

ThaiJet Sports Boating Association Adviser Pariket Sibusahakarn advised on“Thailand Moves Forward” that Jet Ski World Cup 2017 will be held onJomtien Beach in Pattaya, beginning on December 7. The event is to promote Thailand towards being a world recognised venue for global sporting tournaments. 

Pariketexplained Thailand previously held a range of smaller Jet Ski eventswith participants from no more than three countries but was noted forthe fairness of its judges and was chosen to host the upcoming WorldCup. He said that if Thailand continues to build confidence in itssports event organisation abilities, it could become a leader in thesector. 

Governorof the Sports Authority of Thailand Sakol Wannapong later remarked thatsports events have become a significant driver of the Thai economy withJet Skis also playing a key role. He let on that the sports authorityis linking development of sports into the 20 Year National Strategy andwill use Jet Skiing as a pilot sporting event.-VNA
