Hanoi (VNA) – Permanent members of the Government on March 15 looked at the removal of ports along the Sai Gon River and BaSon Shipyard in Ho Chi Minh City, in line with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 46/2010/QD-TTg.

The Ministry of Finance reported that the relocationhas lagged behind schedule, with many contents of the decision yet to be realised.

The government, therefore, has assigned the financeministry to coordinate with other relevant ministries and agencies, and Ho Chi MinhCity to set forth an assessment plan, and submit it to the government and thePM for consideration.

Competent agencies, the Ministry of National Defenceand HCM City were also asked to tighten the management of land and land-attachedassets, as well as proceeds in accordance with legal regulations, and make apublic, transparent report on land settlement and management in the area./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
