Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister and ForeignMinister Pham Binh Minh, Chairman of the National Committee on APEC 2017,signeda decision on April 3 on the completion of the committee’s personnel.


Under the decision, the two vice chairmen of the committeeare Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, who is also Chair of the Vietnam SOMAPEC 2017, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do ThangHai.

The 23 members include Vice Chairman of the PresidentialOffice Chu Van Yem, Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen XuanThanh, DeputyMinister of Public Security Bui Van Nam, Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam,Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh, and Deputy Minister of Finance TranXuan Ha.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Da Nang Huynh DucTho,Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy, and Vice Chairman ofHo Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le ThanhLiem are along among members of thecommittee that is responsible for directing and coordinating with relevantagencies and localities to organise activities of the APEC Year 2017.-VNA
