The northern province of Bac Giang will focus on Party building and preparations for holding Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure in the rest of the year, heading to the 14th National Party Congress.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong recently demanded preventing those persons committing any of certain shortcomings from entering the 14th Party Central Committee, which many Party members considered essential to building a clean and strong leadership.

The Secretariat of the Party Central Committee has ordered stronger leadership, inspections, supervisions and actions against wrongdoings in personnel work in general and in the recruitment of officials and public employees in particular.

Personnel preparation was the main focus of a conference held by the steering board of the project of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC)’s seventh plenum in Hanoi on February 6.

Building up manpower capacity is both an immediate and long-term task of the Hanoi authorities, in the hope of creating a firm foundation for local development.
