Petrol prices increase, diesel price drops in latest adjustment

The price of E5 RON92 petrol increased by 122 VND per litre to a maximum of 19,401 VND (0.74 USD), and the price of RON95-III petrol increased by 439 VND to 19,840 VND per litre.
The price of diesel dropped by 61 VND to 19,068 VND per litre, while the price of kerosene climbed by 86 VND to 18,714 VND per litre. Mazut price also increased by 154 VND to 15,533 VND per kilogramme.
This marks the 32nd fuel price adjustment since the beginning of the year. Over this period, the price of RON95 petrol has been adjusted up 17 times and down 15 times, while the price of diesel has seen 16 hikes, 15 cuts and one instance of remaining unchanged.
In this adjustment, the authorities decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund for any of the fuel categories./.
Petrolimex will initially offer E10 at 36 retail outlets across HCM City, while PVOIL will pilot the product at six sites – four in Hanoi and two in Hai Phong.
