Hanoi (VNA) - Nearly 200 photoshighlighting Hanoi’s renewal and development are being showcased at anexhibition that opened on July 26 to mark the 10th anniversary of the city’administrative-boundary expansion (2008-2018).
The photos feature the capital’s beautifulnatural landscapes, its political and economic activities, as well as itscultural highlights.
Statistics on the city’s socio-economicsituation and its achievements, as well as documentary films on Hanoi’sdevelopment over the past ten years, are also on display at the exhibition.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Directorof Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports To Van Dong affirmed the expansion ofthe administrative boundary implemented under the 12th National Assembly’sResolution in 2008 was a historic and sound decision with significant impactson the construction and development of the country and on Hanoi city inparticular.
He stressed that over the past decade,Hanoi has achieved comprehensive outcomes in its renewal and developmentprocess, striving to become a green, modern, and civilised city.
