The organising board, at a meeting onFebruary 12, said the spring festival, where people compete to seize six luckyballs, will increase the number of participants to 200 this year, double thatof last year.
Associated traditional rituals during theevent remain unchanged, it said.
The participants will be selected from TamNong district’s Hien Quang commune. They will be split into two teams, competingfor the balls on a restricted area spanning 2,000 square metres.-VNA

The Spring Festival 2018 will take place from February 2-8, 2018 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi prior to the traditional New Year (Tet) festival.
