Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved the national action plan on preventing and combating violence and abuse of children in the 2020-2025 period.

𓆉Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved the national action plan on preventing andcombating violence and abuse of children in the 2020-2025period. 

According to the plan, 100 percent ofthe children will be provided with knowledge and techniques to protectthemselves with deferent forms while all the children will be guided andtrained with knowledge and life skills and self-protection skills againstacts of violence and sexual abuse with age-appropriate content.  In addition, 100 percent of staff working in charge of child protection at alllevels and volunteers will get training to improve their capacity for child protection.  Child protectionservices will be strengthened anddeveloped at all provinces and cities.  The plan sets the goal to improve child care service capacity for 100 percent of healthcentres at commune and district levels and children-friendly investigation skills for 100 of policeofficials in charge of investigating child violence and abuse cases./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
