The ancient Dinh Yen mat craft village in Lap Vo district, the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap is falling into oblivion as local people shift to use modern weaving techniques instead of traditional methods. Local authorities and residents are making efforts to preserve the time-honoured craft to attract tourists.
