Quang Binh allocates 1.8 mln USD to boost industry

The central province of Quang Binh issued Decision No.1490/QD-UBND on June 10 regarding a programme to stimulate the local industry by 2020 with estimated spending of 40 billion VND (1.83 million USD).

The sum includes 30 billion VND (1.4 million USD) from the provincialbudget and the remaining will come from the national industry boostingprogramme.

The provincial programme focuses onoffering vocational training to more than 3,000 local workers andimproving vocational and management capability for another 500 workers,alongside building 16 technology demonstration models which introduceadvanced technology and new products.

Additionally, it provides financial support for industrial businessesand helps them attend domestic and overseas trade fairs to promote theirproducts.

The locality is also drawing updetailed plans to develop local industrial clusters and economic zonesand invest in infrastructure development.

Ahighlight of the programme is support provided to about 130 industrialbusinesses in rural areas to expand their business and transfer advancedtechnology to improve production.

The spendingis part of provincial efforts to boost industry and handicrafts sectorstowards sustainable development in a bid to enhance competitiveness andcontribute to economic restructuring.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
