Quang Ngai malnourished children get additional vitamin

The US’s Internorish, the Vietnam-Republic of Korea joint venture Doosan Vina and the Quang Ngai Health Department jointly presented synthesised vitamin pills to malnourished children in the central province of Quang Ngai on January 17.

Doosan alsohanded over hundreds of doses of medicine to the Dang Thuy Chamhospital, named after a woman military doctor who sacrificed her life inthe province protecting wounded soldiers during the American War.

The more than 600,000 pills of vitamin valued at 225 million VND(10,800 USD) will be provided to the 1,662 malnourished children in theprovince, the site of fierce battles during the war.

On this occasion, Doosan Vina and the provincial health department also presented Tet gifts to 10 poor local families.-VNA
