Quang Ninh’s export earnings increase by 6.7 percent in first half

 Quang Ninh (VNA) – The northern province of Quang Ninh ear🐎ned749 million USD from exports in the first half of 2017, 45.3 percent of itsyea𓆏rly goal.

According to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, turnoverwas up 6.7 percent from a year ago. Notably, shipping 970,000 tonnes of coal raked in 115.3 million USD, ayear-on-year increase of 32 percent. Other export goods that witnessed an increase included textiles, up 27.2percent; wolfram, 27.3 percent, cement, 7.2 percent; candle, 9.7 percent andvegetable oil, 5.7 percent. Imports from local businesses during the period were valued at 854.7million USD, up 4.89 percent compared to the same period last year andrepresenting 30.5 percent of the yearly plan. The locality also earned 939 million USD, growing by 2.86 percentagainst the previous year, from temporary import and re-export activities.-VNA
