Reference exchange rate continues going down on Nov. 1

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,242 VND/USD on November 1, down 1 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,242 VND/USD on November 1, down 1 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,454 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,030 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw decreases.

At 8:29am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,094 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,454 VND/USD, down 21 VND and 1 VND, respectively, from October 31.

BIDV posted the buying rate at 25,105 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,454 VND/USD,🍷 down 15 VND and 1 VND, respectively./.
