With the current trading band of/-3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedto commercial banks during the day is 23,088 VND and the floor rate 21,752VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at majorcommercial banks saw only slight changes.
Vietinbank adjusted both ratesdown by 5 VND to 22,675 VND/USD (buying) and 22,745 VND/USD (selling).
Meanwhile, the rates remainedthe same at Vietcombank and BIDV.
Vietcombank listed the buyingrate at 22,675 VND/USD and selling rate at 22,745 VND/USD, unchanged fromDecember 25.
The greenback is being bought at22,680 VND and sold at 22,750 VND/USD, the same as on the previous day.-VNA
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,430 VND/USD on December 25, down 3 VND from the rate on the last day of last week, December 22.
