Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 23,117 VND/USD on December 2, down 15 VND from the previousday.
With thecurrent trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercialbanks during the day is 23,812 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,425 VND/USD.
Theopening-hour rate at commercial banks continued witnessing increases.
At 8:30am, Vietcombanklisted the buying rate at 22,560 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 22,790VND/USD, unchanged from December 1.
Meanwhile, BIDV posted the buying rate at 22,615 VND/USD, up 35 VND, and the selling rate at22,815 VND/USD, up 5 VND from the previous day./.
