Hanoi (VNA) - TheState Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on October 10 at22,721 VND/USD, down 2 VND from the previous day (October 9).
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,402 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,040 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banksstayed rather stable compared to October 9.
Both Vietcombank and BIDV kept both ratesunchanged from October 9, listing the buying rate at 23,315 VND/USD and theselling rate at 23,395 VND/USD.
Techcombank raised both rates by 5 VND, buyingthe green back at 23,295 VND/USD and selling at 23,395 VND/USD.
The reference exchange rate wason a rising trend since the beginning of this week before going down today.-VNA
The State Bank of Vietnam continued to adjust the daily reference exchange rate up on October 4, setting the rate at 22,720 VND/USD, an increase of 2 VND from the previous day.
