Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,260 VND/USD on August 9, down 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,473 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,047 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, the rates fell below 25,000 VND per USD.
At 8:32am, Vietcombank listed the rates at 24,970 VND/USD (buying) and 25,310 VND/USD (selling), both down 30 VND from August 8.
Meanwhile, BIDV also reduced both rate🧸s by 30 VN🥃D, listing the buying rate at 24,970 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,310 VND/USD./.
