Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,165 VND/USD onOctober 8, down 5 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,859VND/USD and the floor rate 22,470 VND/USD.
The opening-hour rates at commercialbanks stayed stable.
At 8:25am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 22,630 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,860 VND/USD, unchangedfrom the rates at the same time on October 7.
BIDV also kept both rates unchangedat 22,660 VND/USD (buying) and 22,860 VND/USD (selling).
Meanwhile, Vietinbank cut both ratesby 3 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,635 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,855VND/USD./.
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23.156 VND/USD on October 4, down 4 VND from the last working day of previous week (October 1).
Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels.
