Reference exchange rate drops 8 VND on January 15

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,338 VND/USD on January 15, down 8 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA)🌼 – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,338 VND/USD on January 15, down 8 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,555 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,121 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also saw decreases. At 8:24am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,194 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,554 VND/USD, dropping 9 VND from January 14 morning./.
