Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 24,256 VND/USD on July 17, up 11 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,469 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,043 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, the opening-hour rates also went up.
At 8:15am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the rates at 25,248 VND/USD (buying) and 25,468 VND/USD (selling), both up 11 VND from the end of July 16./.
